Job Purpose
The Production support operative will be responsible for the loading and offloading of all materials delivered to site ensuring that all deliveries are correct in value/count, including the loading and offloading of 6 metre stillage’s and the presentation, ensuring that all health and safety requirements are adhered to whilst undertaking their duties. Working on the granulation and shredding machine processing waste material. Undertaking stock counts of consumable material.
Key Accountabilities
* Ensure high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
* Ensure products are presented at the required standards.
* Ensure health and safety processes and procedures are followed at all times.
* Ensure adherence to agreed break times.
* Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
* Alert relevant people to process and product concerns and/or rectify where appropriate.
* Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Supervisor/Manager and the training plan.
* Safeguard property issued by the company.
* Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures are followed and the workplace is safe.
* Wear the appropriate uniform and PPE.
* Operate machinery and equipment safely, following all procedures.
* Undertake reasonable duties as and when required/as directed by a Manager.
* Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
* Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
* Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.

Key Experiences & Skills Required
* Combi lift / FLT license
* Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
* Ability to use a PC to an operational level where necessary.
Performance Measures
* Attendance including absence and lateness.
* Housekeeping audits.
* Accuracy of delivery receipts.
* Development of skills in line with training plan
