Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Solar Sales & New Business Development Manager to help grow our presence in the solar energy market. This role requires a strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including housing developers, procurement teams, and construction professionals.
3. Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
4. Attend trade exhibitions, industry events, and networking functions to generate leads.
5. Work closely with internal teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
6. Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with the company’s growth objectives.
7. Proven track record in sales and new business development, ideally in the renewable energy or construction sectors.
8. Ability to engage, negotiate, and build strong business relationships.
9. Strong presentation and communication skills.
10. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
11. Professional and personable approach to client interactions.
12. Experience in sales and/or procurement within new housing and multiple house development sectors.
13. Based in North England (preferred but not essential).
