Job Title: Senior Assessment Operations Coordinator
Salary: £25,200 to £31,800
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2x a week in the office)
Contract: Permanent/Full Time (35 hours per week)

About the role
These are exciting times for Cambridge University Press & Assessment as we look to modernise our systems and strive to find creative and innovative ways to improve our products and services to customers. To enable us to meet the ever increasing demand for our services, we are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Assessment Operations Coordinator, who will thrive in this changing environment and is motivated by delivering excellent customer service.
This role, within the Cambridge English Qualifications team, encompasses a range of tasks and responsibilities. Reporting to a line manager, you will need to establish a high standard for the following activities:
1. Supervising teams in using systems to complete critical processes accurately and on time.
2. Planning for peak periods, sessions, and projects, and reviewing outcomes.
3. Recording, investigating, and mitigating risks and issues effectively.
4. Supporting direct reports with engagement, wellbeing, and performance through ongoing conversations.
5. Building strong working relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders to ensure successful exam delivery.
6. Leading bi-annual reviews of documentation to ensure comprehensive, compliant process flows and instructions.

The successful candidate will be an instinctive collaborator, consistently demonstrate a high-attention to detail and be able to work effectively under pressure and to demanding deadlines. Essential skills and experience:
1. A logical approach, strong attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
2. Excellent spoken and written English, with strong communication and customer service experience.
3. Proven ability to follow documented processes, identify improvements, and implement changes.
4. Collaborative mindset, working effectively with colleagues locally or internationally under pressure.
5. Flexibility to adapt to change, prioritize tasks, and meet challenging deadlines while working independently.
