Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Housemaster or Housemistress within Balcarres House, a Senior Girls House for both boarding and day children. The right candidate will enjoy working in an exciting but busy environment and form an integral part of the School community.
Main Responsibilities: The Housemaster/Housemistress will be responsible for the pastoral welfare and academic monitoring of pupils assigned to them. They will lead a boarding house in which a family environment is developed and maintained to meet the aims of the School and the principles of boarding.
Requirements: We welcome applications from individuals with experience coaching sport, especially hockey, at a high level, who have a military background and would be prepared to be involved in the school's Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and any teaching subject. Evidence of working in a boarding house is desirable.

Location: Balcarres House is located in a beautiful setting within a walled garden. The Housemaster/Housemistress is provided with family accommodation which is connected to the boarding house.
