The Homelessness Commissioning Team sits in the Homelessness Service and is responsible for the delivery of commissioning activity across several areas of homeless provision, including: Housing Related Support services (supported accommodation and resettlement/floating support services) Domestic abuse safe accommodation and support provision Extra help and support services Programmes commissioned in partnership with other services such as GMCA, for example A Bed Every Night (ABEN) The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a portfolio of commissioning and contract management work, including developing service specifications, performance monitoring frameworks and monitoring targets around areas such as move-on, support and meeting statutory obligations. They will need to work closely with commissioned accommodation and support providers, with other colleagues in the homeless service, and the wider partnerships across Manchester.
