Connect to your career at Deloitte
Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, that covers audit, risk advisory, and consulting services across tax, legal, business, technology and corporate finance, we help our clients become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.
What brings us all together at Deloitte? It's how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.
Connect to your opportunity
In this role you will develop change strategies to drive the direction of change and deliver against this approach, ensuring that changes can be adopted and sustained by the individuals impacted by, for example, shifts to the way they work, new systems and technologies, updated job roles and organisational structures as part of technology transformation programmes. You will have a point of view on the change management risks and approach for Greenfield, Brownfield or Selective transformation programmes.
A deep understanding of the key aspects of organisational change management will support the creation of quality deliverables as part of the change action plan, and building change activities into the plans of wider project teams. We value creative thinking to create practical, data driven objectives. Some of the things you may take on in a typical role include:
· Designing a way to measure the success of the changes considering speed of adoption, ultimate utilisation and proficiency of the impacted community.
· Enabling and ensuring that projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and to budget by increasing employee usage and adoption of the new ways of working.
· Coaching and providing direct support to senior leaders, executives and key client groups (managers / supervisors) in helping them fulfil the role of "Change Sponsor" as they support their teams through transitions.
In addition to client work, we are building the team internally and proactively mentoring junior members of the offering. This includes keeping abreast of new techniques, technologies and industry trends in relation to Change Management and ensuring that insight flows into our client and internal teams to respond to new proposals and develop business and our people.
You listen to what people say, and are interesting in what excites and motivates them, and what they worry about. You're motivated by engaging with partners and stakeholders to move towards a common goal and clearly articulate messages to a range of audiences with differing levels of understanding, and take your team with you as you navigate the challenges of navigating resistance to change.
You are comfortable challenging the status quo and using innovating methods to disrupt behaviours to achieve positive outcomes. You have experience building and maintaining strong relationships, establishing credibility with clients and project teams and instilling confidence in those you work with. Coaching and mentoring your clients, stakeholders and your own team comes naturally to you.
