An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 6 LES Operative 4s to join our Roads department on a permanent basis.

Position Details
The role works as part of a team that will maintain Glasgow's Roads infrastructure. You will have experience as a Roadworker, in civils or the Construction industry, with a wide range of operational experience gained within road maintenance or civil operations and will be flexible and adaptable to changing workloads/tasks.
You must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of health and safety, be proficient in operating a range of complex equipment requiring a high level of maintenance, and operate any machinery relevant to the post, though training can be provided to those with a willingness to learn new skills.
A current driving licence is essential. The ability to communicate with clients/customers, a willingness to attend First Aid training, proven experience in front line operational road service delivery, and the ability to operate plant & machinery are also essential for this role.
As is an HAUC certificate, CSCS card, a current LGV Class C or Class C1 licence, and Driver's CPC are desirable, though training can be provided.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
Annual Salary: £26,584.54 - £28,609.93 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary, the role attracts a non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £2,091 and a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £1,428.
