Be part of a team that enables business growth A Deputy Team Leader is expected to help, mentor, and assist with team members in all aspects of order fulfilment. Softcat would expect the candidate to achieve the above along with focusing on training and development of the team. The ideal candidate will act as a role model to other team members, encouraging proactive and diligent behaviours, and emulating a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The successful candidate will have prior experience of buying and show a passion for people and customer service. As an Order Fulfilment Deputy Team Leader, you'll be responsible for: Assisting with the new start and continuous team training including the planning & reviewing of and delivery of training content Proactively supporting their team to ensure that all orders are placed within ETA's and act as an escalation path for queries Supporting the Team Leader and deputising for them in their absence Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encouraging your team to contribute more efficient and effective ways of working Actively support your team by placing a variety of order types during the day to reduce any backlog. We'd love you to have Leadership, coaching and mentoring experience Solid track record in working in a fast-pace environment IT experience would be beneficial but not essential Experience in an order fulfilment, procurement or buying role would be beneficial but not essential Work in a way that works for you We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
