IT Support Specialist We are looking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, software troubleshooting, and system administration, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users for software and hardware issues. Configure and maintain firewall settings to enhance network security. Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Administer IT systems, including Active Directory, DHCP, and PowerShell scripting. Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication. Use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and correspondence. Core Technical Skills: Install and configure IT hardware and software. Proficient in Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7 and above). Experience with Windows Server environments (2012 R2 and later). Strong understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues. Experience with Exchange, Office 365, and PowerShell. Personal Qualities: Work within policies, regulations, and procedures. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Manage workload effectively under pressure. Team player with excellent communication skills. Work independently with minimal supervision. Calm and professional when handling problems. Preferred Experience and Certifications: Microsoft 365 and Office 365 migration and management. Microsoft Azure implementation and certification. Proficiency in Hyper-V configuration and management. Deploy and manage antivirus, backup, and firewall solutions. Awareness of cybersecurity practices and GDPR compliance.
