A prestigious organisation based in Cambridge is looking for an HR Advisor to cover maternity leave. The HR Team is a specialised group offering comprehensive HR, recruitment, and clinical services to colleagues, new hires, and visitors across selected departments and institutes. They play a vital role in supporting the dynamic and diverse workforce.
Your new role
As an HR Adviser, you will report to an HR Business Partner and provide operational support to ensure your client areas receive excellent, responsive business partnering, resourcing, and HR administrative functions. Your role involves supporting the HR Business Partnering Team in developing departmental and HR workforce plans to align with the evolving operational needs and goals of the organisation.
You will be a key member of the HR Business Partner Team, working closely with colleagues across the wider HR Division. Your contributions may extend beyond SCM, as you participate in organisation-wide HR policy development and operational initiatives. Additionally, you will be involved in creating and implementing specific clinical policies and practices.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Coordinator role
* Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and policy development
* Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in HR policies and practices
* Line management experience is highly desirable
* CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
