Creative Teachers are seeking a professional and friendly School Receptionist to join school team in Chichester asap. The ideal person will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
You will be answering calls and emails as well as greeting students and visitors There is a small switchboard which is very easy to do.
Duties
Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Answer phone calls promptly, ensuring excellent phone etiquette while directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
Manage the reception area, keeping it tidy and organised at all times.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Utilise Google Suite for scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as required.
Support office staff with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Experience
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role in a school is preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in using computerised systems and software, including Google Suite and QuickBooks.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A keen eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
