SHEQ Training Coordinator Required – Construction – Harlow Area – Up to £40K Package I am currently representing a Top Construction company who are seeking to recruit a SHEQ Training Coordinator to work within their Head Office. My client is currently one of the biggest residential construction companies in the country, turning over more than £850 million and opting to build quality over quantity. Position Overview The SHEQ Training Coordinator will be responsible for organising, coordinating, and delivering SHEQ training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to engage and educate employees on SHEQ standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SHEQ principles and demonstrate a passion for promoting a culture of safety and quality across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule SHEQ training sessions for employees at all levels within the organization. Develop and update training materials to align with current SHEQ regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Deliver SHEQ training courses, workshops, and presentations both in-person and virtually. Track and monitor employee training progress and maintain accurate training records. Assist in the development and implementation of SHEQ-related policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on SHEQ-related training requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training is aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Stay up-to-date with current SHEQ legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Requirements: Proven experience as a SHEQ Training Coordinator or similar role in a relevant industry. Strong understanding of SHEQ regulations, standards, and best practices. Relevant qualifications in SHEQ (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent). Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
