Director of Ecommerce and Sales
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Harrier as Director of Ecommerce and Sales. This will be a key leadership role responsible for developing and driving the online sales strategy and growth of the business. You will be responsible for leading our DTC business model, overseeing the company's ecommerce sales. This role requires a strong commercial skillset mixed with the practical experience to develop and execute a world class e-Commerce strategy that will drive significant revenue growth to these channels.
Reporting to the company founder and CEO, you will also work closely with the rest of the Harrier team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take the lead on innovative ideas, directly contribute to the success of key projects, and see the tangible impact of your work. You will have the chance to influence real growth within the company by working closely with the founder and playing a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.
You will provide the strategy and oversee the development and execution of ecommerce initiatives. Ensuring the company’s online presence and digital sales channels are optimised for maximum performance and customer engagement. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, focusing on revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and delivering a seamless online shopping experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing the overall ecommerce and sales strategy to drive online revenue growth.
* Managing and optimising the company’s online store, digital marketing efforts, and customer experience.
* Leading and mentoring our in-house team plus working with freelance professionals, depending on the project, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth targets.
* Analysing sales data, customer insights, and market trends to refine strategies and enhance sales performance.
* Collaborating with marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure a cohesive strategy and efficient execution.
* Implementing key initiatives around conversion optimisation, customer journey, and retention strategies.
* Monitoring and managing ecommerce budgets, forecasting, and sales targets.
The Director of Ecommerce and Sales plays a pivotal role in scaling the business by leveraging digital channels to reach new customers, drive repeat sales, and ultimately position the company as a leader in its market.
