Data Analyst – Birmingham

Salary – up to £45,000
Data Analyst required for a leading client based in Birmingham. My client is currently seeking a Data Analyst to come on board to play a pivotal role in supporting the Enterprise Transformation Programme and other strategic initiatives by delivering critical, data-driven insights that guide decision-making and enhance process efficiency. Reporting directly to the Head of Process Development and indirectly to the Director of Data and Insights, this role involves gathering, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets to generate actionable insights that align with both sector-specific needs and overarching business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with large data sets and a proven track record of presenting clear, data-based recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. This position is instrumental in shaping the data strategy and driving transformation efforts throughout the organisation.

* Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau), with a strong emphasis on data visualization and reporting.
* Exceptional analytical skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities, adept at engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Data-driven and detail-oriented, with a passion for leveraging data to address complex business challenges.

* Maintain compliance with data governance policies and best practices in all data analysis activities, working closely with the Director of Data and Insights to ensure data integrity and security.
* Actively seek opportunities to improve data collection and analysis methods, contributing to the development of a robust data analytics capability within the transformation program
