A fabulous opportunity for a candidate that is currently working within engineering/controls or is an electrician/electricians mate that is looking to progress into a project management role and pursue a career to become a Project Manager. This role is a great opportunity for the right person who will receive support and training as in the long term will progress within the organisation.
Role:
You will be required to support five project managers with running of complex automation projects, with the targeted progression to take on small works projects and move into a project engineering role. You will liaise with PM’s, Technical Engineers, the procurement department and site teams during project phases.
Responsibilities:
1. Process “Bill of materials” for procurement after design release, considering current stock levels.
2. Update resource planner as per project timing plans, highlighting conflicts to the relevant PM’s.
3. Liaise with sub-contract labour suppliers to confirm availability for upcoming resource requirements.
4. Take meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
5. Monitor project invoicing milestones and issue summary report to PM’s.
6. Support installations with procurement requirements/updates.
7. Prepare RAMS for site installations.
8. Track and compile project final documentation package for delivery.
9. Process change requests for on-going projects through design, procurement and kitting.

Technical competencies:
1. MS Office (Advanced level)
2. Microsoft Project (Intermediate)
3. Eplan (preferred not essential)
