ABOUT ST. MICHAEL'S SCHOOL This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Bank Summer School Assistant. Our school continues to go from strength to strength, with many school years being oversubscribed due to demand for places. There are tremendous benefits to working in the independent schools school sector and St. Michael s is one of Wales leading schools. Our summer 2022 exam results place us 11th coeducational independent school in the UK (Sunday Times) and we are nearly always in the top 50 of all schools. In 2021 we were named as Welsh Independent Secondary School of the Decade by The Sunday Times, as well as 2024 Best Value for Money Independent School in the UK by the Daily Telegraph. These achievements are down to our hard working staff who go above and beyond in everything that they do and our highly motivated pupils, whose conduct and enthusiasm supports them to achieve great things. Pupils wear their uniform with pride, their behaviour is exemplary and a strong pastoral system ensures that rewards and sanctions create a supportive and optimistic climate which allows learning to take priority.
