As part of continued long-term digital transformation, they are looking to grow their permanent technology team. They have an immediate requirement for an Active Directory Identity Engineer to join their Digital Services team which currently numbers nearly 200 staff.
As a Senior Active Directory and Identity SME, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory and Cloud Identity technologies while leveraging automation tools and techniques to increase efficiency and streamline processes.
The candidate must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Active Directory, Entra/Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, Azure Cloud Sync, Conditional Access Policies, Single Sign-on (SSO), Group Policies, Windows Server, and Privileged Access Management.
You will work within our cyber security team, which includes specialist areas such as security operations, security engineering, and digital identity (your primary role). The ideal candidate should have experience in large environments and leading initiatives. In addition, you will have experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing support to security, operations, and development teams. The candidate will bring agile and product-led experience to help deliver comprehensive solutions for our organisation.
You must be adept at communicating with both technical staff in the Digital, Data, and Technology Directorate, and non-technical colleagues across the business, particularly when managing incidents and explaining identity and security requirements.
