Job Overview: We are looking for a temporary Used Vehicle Coordinator to support our Alltruck 2 team in Nottingham. The Used Vehicle Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of the used truck operations across multiple depots. This role involves ensuring the efficient processing of vehicles through inspections, maintenance, and preparation for sale or handover, as well as providing support to drivers and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Morning Yard Checks:
Conduct daily yard checks for all Alltruck 2 vehicles across different depots.
Ensure all vehicles are in the correct condition and ready for their next scheduled activities.
2. Vehicle Pack Creation and Updates:
Create and update vehicle packs for all trucks, including documentation and service records.
Request and collect keys for de-fleeted vehicles as necessary.
3. Coordination of Vehicle Movements:
Assist in the scheduling and monitoring of vehicle movements to ensure they arrive at their allocated slots.
Ensure timely transportation of vehicles for MOTs, bodywork, and de-fleeting to Nottingham or other designated locations.
4. Pre-Delivery Inspections and Vehicle Preparation:
Ensure all vehicles are valeted and de-fuelled before handover to the customer.
Perform final checks on vehicles the day before handover to confirm they meet standards before final inspection by management.
5. Agency Driver Support:
Assist with transporting agency drivers to required locations as necessary.
Show new agency drivers around and help them adjust to their role within the first few days.
6. Valet Quality Control:
Oversee external valet services to ensure that the work performed is up to standard.
Retrieve keys, guide valeters to different yards, and ensure vehicle accessibility for cleaning and preparation.
7. Parts and Consumables Ordering:
Order parts and consumables for the Bodyshop team to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently.
Assist in streamlining the parts ordering process to save time for the Bodyshop team.
Requirements:
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work across multiple depots and coordinate between different teams.
* Good communication skills to liaise with external agencies, drivers, and internal departments.
* Ability to perform quality control inspections and ensure compliance with company standards.
* Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel between depots when necessary.
