Open ended, full time, 37 hours per week. We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join the Loughborough University Engineering, Maintenance and Sustainability team, in the Estates and Facilities Management department as a Contracts Officer. The role shall involve managing soft and hard FM services contracts and duties are summarised as follows: Preparation of tender stage documents and specifications. Carrying out tender evaluations. Following the contract approvals process. Monitoring contractor performance. Contract administration. Managing contractor payment processes. The position is key to ensuring that the University facilities are functional and reliable, and the campus remains well maintained, compliant with legislation and a safe and healthy environment for our students, staff and visitors. Key Requirements: Experience of commercial contracts, ideally in a similar environment. Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation. Excellent communication skills. Proficient at Microsoft Excel and Word. Qualified to Ordinary National Certificate or City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent. Ideally candidates shall have experience of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Services, or Building Fabric Services, although this is not essential.
