Full job description
Tasks will include:
1. Taking phone calls from service users, their families, and professionals.
2. Minute taking.
3. Typing of clinical letters.
4. Helping to maintain and input data for a number of audits and systems needed for the smooth running of the service.
5. Being the first point of contact for people experiencing emotional distress.
Further training in how to understand mental health difficulties can be provided to support you in your role. You will be someone whose strengths include planning and organisational skills, excellent time management, and adaptability to respond to the challenges of change and development of an exciting service.
A working knowledge of Word and Excel will be essential. Further training can be given for this and other NHS systems if required. There may be times when you will be required to provide admin support to other teams in Sussex and attend meetings in other locations. (In line with Trust policy, expenses will be given to cover travel costs).
