Job summary Job Summary Following the release of ARRS funding for GPs, we are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a newly qualified General Practitioner. We are seeking to recruit a positive, caring and self-motivated individual to take on the role and work across our three Practice groups. Our practices have a strong ethos of support, mentoring and supervision, as experienced training practices. We have a significant workforce in place which brings wonderful opportunities for in-house multi-disciplinary team working. We have a complete Pharmacy Service, General Practice Assistants, a dedicated Care Home Visiting Team, a Long-Term Conditions Housebound Visiting Team, Physician Associates, Care Co-ordinators, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Social Prescribers and self-refer Physiotherapy Main duties of the job Provide face to face and telephone consultations for routine and urgent care. Conduct patient home visits. Manage patient care within the Practices, including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans and making the necessary referrals. Issue and signing repeat prescriptions, adhering to national and local guidelines. Administer and manage patient queries, test results, referral letters and any other duties as required in a timely manner. Make clear consultation notes and records using SystmOne Ensure safe, evidence based and cost-effective care in line with Practice disease management protocols and NICE guidelines. Independently prescribe medications within your scope of practice. Review and manage patient medications following the appropriate policies and local clinical guidelines. Work with our clinical and support teams in delivering holistic and patient centred care. Actively participate in MDT and care conference meetings as required.
