We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of managing a high-performing sales team, working in a fast-paced contact centre environment.

As a Sales Team Manager, you will be coaching and supporting a team to help them perform at a consistently high level.
The hours are 37.5 hours per week between 8:30 am and 8:00 pm on a rolling rota shift pattern, which includes some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Your Responsibilities as a Sales Team Manager
* Coach and develop a team of 10 to help achieve personal and team targets.
* Assist in recruitment to find the best candidates to join your team while promoting a fantastic brand image.
* Ensure you remain up to date with procedures, processes, products, new schemes, and communicate these effectively to your team.
* Handle complaints.
* Effectively communicate technical, client, customer, service, and system-related issues or staff-related issues to your direct line manager, providing recommendations for swift resolutions.
* Monitor, record, and effectively manage absence and timekeeping issues in line with company procedures.
* Deliver monthly 1:1s ensuring objectives are recorded and monitored, coaching plans are defined, monitored, and documented providing an audit trail.
* Have a full understanding of health & safety obligations.
* Assist with customer needs and identify new areas to improve the customer's experience.
* Promote the company's vision and values.
* Provide excellent customer service and treat customers fairly.
* Maintain a positive attitude towards company changes.
Your Skills/Experience as a Sales Team Manager
* Previous experience in managing a team.
* Experience in a FCA regulated environment.
* Proven track record of motivating individuals/team to hit targets.
* Understanding of insurance (not essential but preferred).
* Enjoy working with and being challenged by sales targets.
* Ability to read and understand data analyzing team performance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Experience in performance management.
* Hands-on approach.
* Excellent verbal and written skills.
