Our client, a reputable nursery located in Barnet, N20, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Full-Time Room Leader for their Under 3's room. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of early years practitioners to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged under 3. Create and implement engaging and stimulating activities that promote the development of children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery. Monitor children's progress and development, conducting observations and assessments to inform planning and individualized learning experiences. Collaborate with the nursery management team to contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and practices. Requirements: Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Enhanced DBS certificate Proven experience working with children aged under 3 in an early years setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team. A genuine passion for working with young children and promoting their well-being and development. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its application in practice. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
