Our Wealth Management practice is looking for a Financial Planner to join the team and own the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
1. Process client data and complete data entry in financial planning software.
2. Identify financial planning needs and solutions for clients by considering the client’s wealth, life goals, and other objectives.
3. Serve as a resource for clients with needs surrounding financial planning, investments, insurance, tax management, executive compensation, retirement analysis, estate planning, philanthropy, and business succession planning.
4. Develop recommendations and identify areas of opportunity to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
5. Other Financial Planning tasks including, but not limited to: meeting preparation, RRSP, RESP, and TFSA account tracking, research assignments, prepare report packages, and other duties as assigned.
6. Ad hoc duties and projects as required.

Your experience and education
1. Be pursuant or have completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
2. 3+ years’ experience in the wealth/financial planning industry is preferred (in a banking, insurance, investment-related workplace).
3. Inquisitive, curious attitude by continuously asking questions and looking for opportunities to make improvements.
4. You ideally have experience utilizing planning software and are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
