Office & Sales Administrator
Location: Hawford, Worcester
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Clarke & Jay Chartered Surveyors are seeking an Office & Sales Administrator to join the professional and friendly team based at our offices in Hawford, Worcester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering high standards of service.

Clarke & Jay Surveyors is a well-established, independent surveying practice based in Worcester. We provide high-quality, responsive surveying services across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, and the Cotswolds. As a local business, we are committed to supporting our community and actively fundraise for The Midlands Air Ambulance, Worcester Warriors Community Foundation, and St Richard’s Hospice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Be the first point of contact for client enquiries, providing quotes and advice in a professional and approachable manner.
2. Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
3. Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up to date.
4. Use MS Office (particularly Word and Excel) to create / format documents, reports, and spreadsheets.
5. Assist with diary management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating surveyor visits.
6. Prepare and issue client documentation, including quotations and invoices.
7. Support sales and marketing efforts by helping with business development initiatives.
8. Work collaboratively within the team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
What We Are Looking For
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in liaising with clients over the phone and via email.
2. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
3. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT skills.
4. Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is essential.
5. Experience in the property or professional services sector would be an advantage.
6. A proactive, positive, and team-oriented approach.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
