For successful applicants, Polar Speed will process basic disclosure criminal record checks. Key responsibilities: Update and maintain accurate patient records on the patent data base. Coordinate the receipt of prescriptions from prescriber with the delivery of the dispensed prescription to the patient. Provide an initial response to all patent or Trust enquiries about our homecare service. Ensure all deliveries are scheduled to ensure the patient never runs out of medication or ends up with excess. Rotate within the Pharmacy Care Administration department to ensure a knowledge base of all therapies. Comply with all data privacy requirements to protect patient confidentiality. Maintain and update knowledge of regulatory requirements using departmental notifications. Assist with the achievement of KPIs both internally and externally. Skills: Excellent telephone manner and people skills. Excellent organisational skills, showing initiative and being proactive. Must be able to build effective working relationships with senior managers, other departments and external contacts. Keen eye for detail, and be able to work well under pressure as well as a quick learner. Must appreciate the need for retaining confidentiality. Team player mentality with ability to work on own initiative. Specialised Knowledge Secretarial and administrative experience. Excellent working knowledge of IT packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Relevant experience in a diverse operational role, with good knowledge of the organisation and business areas.
