We are seeking a Fully Qualified Teacher with prior SEN experience or a qualified SEN specialist teacher. You'll design and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of your students. Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll foster a supportive learning environment alongside teaching assistants, support staff, and therapists.
- Plan and deliver inclusive lessons that accommodate varying abilities and learning styles.
- Implement and monitor Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring strategies are adapted as needed.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and valued.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external professionals to meet each student's holistic needs.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, behaviour, and achievements, sharing updates with senior staff and parents.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour with a focus on positive outcomes.
- Additional qualifications or experience in specific areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, or emotional and behavioural challenges.
