We're seeking enthusiastic Psychology and Criminology graduates to join a specialist SEN school in Kempston as a School Mental Health Assistant. This role is perfect for those interested in careers in Counselling, Mental Health, Wellbeing, Criminal or Social Justice, Youth Work, or Social Care.
In this role, you'll provide vital support to children with a variety of complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. You'll also work with students with ADHD, communication challenges, Down syndrome, and other speech, language, and communication difficulties.
Position: School Mental Health Assistant

Location: Kempston
Salary: £460 - £500 per week
Contract: Full-time, long-term (Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm)

Requirements:
1. A Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Psychology or Criminology), or prior experience in working with SEN students
2. A strong passion for mental health, autism, and supporting children with SEMH needs
3. Knowledge or a keen interest in various learning and behavioural needs
4. Ability to commute reliably to Kempston
