Site Manager – Fast Track Supermarket Refits
Location: Southern Home Counties
Contract Type: Contract - Rolling Projects
Role: Site Manager on days
Hours 7AM - 5 PM during the enabling works period, then 12 hours shifts during the shut down of the retail store, 7 AM - 7 PM for 8 days, before handover.
MUST HAVE - Black or White CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid & Asbestos Awareness
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee day-to-day site operations, including supervision of trades, subcontractors and liaising closely with the client / store manager.
Coordinate all site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Liaise closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the project runs smoothly and any issues are
Prepare and update project schedules, and reports to ensure effective project delivery.
Working with a counterpart on nights
Seamless handovers to and from night shift
Projects run for circa 3.5 weeks before next one starts
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience managing fast-track supermarket refits and fit-out projects would be advantageous
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and health & safety regulations.
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to meet project deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Full driving license required, as travel across the Southern Home Counties is necessary. What's on offer
