In order to ensure our engineers can attend callouts and planned maintenance on time, every time and safely, we need a forward thinking, organised and confident Fleet Administrator to support our operation efficiently and effectively.
As a Fleet Administrator you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing for all fleet related administration and activities to ensure continued operating compliance and control of all fleet assets.
A Full UK Licence is required to move vehicles within the yard, move vehicles out for repairs or servicing and collecting new vehicles for the continually growing fleet. Vehicles range from commercial cars, vans, cage tippers and cherry pickers.
THE ROLE OF THE FLEET ADMINISTRATOR
* Booking of services, MOT's, Repairs.
* Checking all vehicles when required for damages and reporting these immediately.
* Keeping track of all vehicles including the scheduling of vehicles assigned to engineers.
* Responsible for reconciliation of fuel cards monthly
* Responsible for the record retention and stock of all first aid and mandatory forms for each vehicle.
* Moving vehicles at our head office and to/ from service centres and repair garages.
* Stock control of company uniforms.
* Assigning Uniform to Engineers
* Ordering Uniform for new engineers
* Data Inputting
* Checking insurance details
* Updating daily logs
* Monitoring Fuel Cards
* Monitoring trackers
* Filing invoices
* Generating Purchase orders
* General query handling
* Managing manual filing systems
* Supporting the fleet manager when registering vehicles/ ordering new vehicles etc.
DESIREABLE SKILLS:
* As Fleet Administrator you will have experience in the motor trade
* Experience in a van/ commercial industry ideal.
* Competent on Microsoft packages and bespoke systems
* Full UK License- essential
* Able to manage changing priorities.
* Can work to pace.
