Legal Secretary – Employment Location – Leicester
Salary - Around £27,000 per annum DOE
Office based initially and Full time hours
We have teamed up with one of the U.K’s best legal firms and have an exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join their Employment team in Leicester. This friendly team is looking for someone with excellent secretarial skills to operate on a pool structure, working for the Employment team. You will be supporting them with a range of tasks in a timely and efficient way. Some of your duties will include:
1. Document management;
2. Transcribing and proof-reading letters, emails and other correspondence;
3. Audio typing and some file management;
4. Typing of documents and track amendments;
5. Scanning, paginating and photocopying;
6. File opening, ID checks and preparation of client care letters;
7. Providing general administration support to the team;
8. PA duties including board minutes, travel arrangements, etc.
A little about you:
1. Strong document management skills, preferably legal documentation such as numbering and amending documents;
2. Confidence in formatting documents;
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills;
4. A good eye for detail;
5. Good organisation and time management abilities;
6. Excellent team player;
7. Great typing skills;
8. Motivated with a strong commitment to learning;
9. Prior secretarial experience within this area of law would be advantageous.
