The position of Catering Assistant is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as General Assistant – Catering. The role of Catering Assistant will include: Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards Working with customers, families, advocates, and staff to ensure a high standard of services Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, communal areas, and customers’ flats Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes Skills and experiences: Some experience of working in a catering/hospitality environment is desirable Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable Good interpersonal and customer service skills A general understanding of health and safety in the work place NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering, or willing to work towards is desirable Are you ready to be your best?
