We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Assistant to join a collaborative and high-energy team that values creativity, agility, and excellence. Hours and Pay:
Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch break each day (40 hours per week)
From £12.50 per hour (£26,000 per Anum)
Role Summary:
Provide professional and efficient administrative support and people management to the warehouse management team, ensuring internal and external customer service excellence. Manage the goods flow pipeline for finished goods from production to dispatch between sites.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administer booking in and dispatch processes
2. Conduct ongoing weekly and monthly stock checks
3. Investigate stock discrepancies
4. Collaborate with third-party transport providers
5. Monitor inbound and outbound delivery schedules
6. Manage and file paperwork to ensure compliance with ISO and FSC standards
7. Control daily inventory checks across Roberts Mart
8. Collect data for KPI reporting
9. Liaise with the ordering team for PPE
10. Coordinate waste collection
11. Support with RTW and investigation interviews
12. Complete daily/weekly reports
13. Attend team meetings as required
14. Conduct verbal and written handovers as requested
15. Carry out racking inspections (training provided)
16. Complete near-miss reporting
17. Maintain a safe working environment
18. Commit to continuous learning and quality improvement
