The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager located in Lowestoft, with some remote working such as onsite meetings with customers and new accounts and providing equipment demonstrations and user training.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
* Identifying and establishing new business opportunities.
* Achievement of territory sales target by means of cold calls, appointments, site surveys and demonstrations to end users.
* Achievement of specific number of calls into individual target groups on a monthly basis.
* Promotion of all products to all selected accounts and end users.
* Following up sales leads and issuing quotes.
* Providing advice/product guidance and demos to the end user.
* Achieve set KPI’s.
* Continuous use of CRM.
Educational Attainments:
Good standard of general education – 3 GCSEs at Grade C (Level 5) to include English and Maths.
Knowledge required:
Product knowledge in the cleaning industry preferable or in a similar or related field would be desirable; however, full training will be given to the successful candidate.
Experience required:
Proven sales experience and achievement of targets ideally selling into relevant target markets, FMCG/consumer durables sectors for both B2B and B2C.
