Job Description
The Youth Participation Team is looking to recruit experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Youth Services Assistants. Youth Services Assistants help to promote achievement through learning and development for young people across the Stirling area and support young people to develop their capacities as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors.
The post holder will have good interpersonal skills, listening and reflective skills, and be experienced in working with young people, along with a knowledge of the issues facing young people. Youth Services Assistants will assist the Lead Officer, Senior Practitioners, and Youth Workers to deliver Youth Work programmes across the area. The post holder will be competent in the use of ICT.
This post is predominantly evening and weekend work, although there may be opportunities during the day. Please note that these posts are recruited on a relief/casual basis (approximately 30/40 weeks per year).
