My client, a fantastic IFA Firm, is actively looking to recruit a Senior Paraplanner to join their hugely successful business. The client may offer 2 part remote days for skilled paraplanners with strong report writing skills in senior chartered paraplanning.
The position is suitable for someone who has a minimum of 3 years background in paraplanning, ideally at chartered level, or at least working towards chartered level, and is minimum Diploma Level 4 qualified. This is a full-time position with part remote/home working available. It is essential that candidates demonstrate a strong background within a similar environment as a paraplanner and possess an outgoing and aspirational personality.
To be successful in this paraplanning role, you will also need to be a good communicator and have a working knowledge of the financial services industry across the full range of investments, pensions, retirement solutions, trusts, and both personal and business protection.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Provision of high-quality technical support.
2. Writing bespoke and compliant suitability reports.
3. Preparing client portfolio review analysis.
4. Reviewing letters and overseeing the implementation of investments.
5. Cash flow modelling.
6. Attendance at client meetings.
7. Liaising with team administrators to ensure general client administration is kept up to date.
You will be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and possess a good knowledge of analytical tools and numerical aptitude.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Receiving instructions during debriefings from advisers following client meetings.
2. Interpreting data obtained by advisers during client meetings.
3. Analysing data and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
4. Providing records to support research undertaken.
5. Consolidation of client needs and objectives, recommendations, and course of action in a written format via a suitability letter, client-specific illustration, and key features document.
6. Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures.
7. Preparation of existing client files ready for reviews.
8. Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.
9. All business-related administrative duties.
