We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to strengthen our Finance team based at our Head Office in Trafford Park, Manchester.
Your role will include:
* Ensuring the preparation of timely and robust monthly and annual financial reports and accounts.
* Analysis of financial data and KPI’s to identify trends, risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to drive business performance.
* Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts and provide regular updates to management on variances, deviations and areas for margin improvement and incremental cashflow generation.
* Conduct analysis for proposed projects or investments, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements as well as collaborating with external auditors during financial audits
* Reviewing and Preparing key balance sheet account reconciliations along with stock valuations.
What you will bring to the team:
* Recognised accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACA or ACCA or equivalent
* Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role in a business
* Advanced Excel user and other MS Office systems. ERP accounting software and multi-site ERP systems for business and stock systems.
* Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret and synthesise financial data.
* Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
* The ability to solve problems based on by taking into consideration facts and logic You will be solution driven with a "can-do" attitude.
