WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
Join our multinational IT department and support our UK offices by assisting colleagues through technical help desk support and the installation and configuration of infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
* Installation of software solutions, virtual machines, Operating Systems, and antivirus software.
* Troubleshooting issues spanning multiple systems and technologies.
* Being a team player with a flexible attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Providing customer-focused support while managing both internal and external stakeholders.
Required Knowledge:
* Strong technical fault coordination experience and understanding of IT/communication systems.
* Medium HW selection, installation, and configuration.
* Ticket Resolution: Coordinate with resolving teams to ensure timely resolutions, proactively chase issues, and provide updates.
* Medium Design of HW systems.
* Basic Virtualisation (mainly VMWARE, others desirable).
* Basic Networks communication.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Medium Windows administration.
* Availability to travel.
Technical Troubleshooting: Perform line tests on PSTNs and diagnose broadband faults. Assist with new device installations and work with engineers to resolve complex technical problems.
Customer Experience: Ensure a smooth in-life service experience, from order entry to operational service, focusing on customer satisfaction.
Network Performance: Monitor 24/7 network performance, resolving issues that cause outages or impact KPIs.
