Claims Executive – Corporate & Commercial
Location: Southampton (with potential flexibility to work from Alton, Reading, or Farnborough)
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days from home
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a skilled Claims Executive to join our Corporate & Commercial team. This is a key role focused on managing complex and high-value claims while supporting junior team members and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers.
What you’ll be doing:

Manage the full life cycle of commercial claims, including large and contentious cases

Act as the main point of contact for clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and legal representatives
*
Mentor and guide junior claims handlers, promoting best practices and professional growth
*
Investigate on-site losses and develop robust cases for swift and fair outcomes
*
Negotiate settlements with insurers, ensuring optimal results for clients
*
Analyse claims data to identify trends and improve claims processes
*
Stay up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes
*
Prepare reports and present key performance updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
*
Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance and claims procedures
*
Previous experience in a brokerage setting is essential
*
Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
*
Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring others
*
Resilient, organised, and able to manage deadlines independently
*
GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) required
*
A Levels and CII/CILA qualifications desirable
