You We currently offer six sessions operating five evenings per week at Showfields, Hadlow, Hawkhurst and Tunbridge Wells. We are aiming to increase this and deliver 15 sessions this year with other detached youth work venues. As such, we are on the hunt for an excellent role model who has a solid understanding of issues affecting young people e.g. substance misuse, family breakdown, homelessness, mental health, learning or physical disabilities. You will have a good knowledge and/or experience of safeguarding, be able to support, mentor and develop young people, as well as being able to empower them. Successful candidate will be ‘self-starter’ who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working with young people, you will of course require patience and be a good listener. You will need to be reliable and flexible, and most of all passionate about supporting vulnerable young people. This role covers a variety of locations so we are looking for someone with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
