Job Description
Creative Strategist – Branded Content (Gen Z & Football Culture)
£45 - £55K base + benefits
Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office
We’re looking for a culturally switched-on Creative Strategist to join my client’s team and help develop standout branded content programmes for brands seeking to engage Gen Z style setters and opinion formers.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes global football culture — not just the game, but the world that surrounds it: iconic teams, rising players, music, sneaker drops, fashion collabs, and the digital spaces where these all collide. You’ll understand how football sits at the intersection of pop culture and youth identity, and you’ll use that insight to help brands connect authentically with football-loving audiences.
You’ll be responsible for shaping creative strategies, crafting compelling narratives, and building visually strong decks that win pitches. You know how to turn brand objectives into culture-first content ideas that feel native, fresh, and shareable. You thrive in pitch environments and are confident presenting ideas to internal teams and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop insight-led creative strategies for branded content campaigns
* Identify culturally relevant opportunities within football and youth culture
* Create pitch-winning presentations that clearly articulate creative thinking
* Collaborate with commercial teams, editorial, creative, and production to bring ideas to life
Requirements:
* Proven experience in creative strategy, branded content, or campaign planning
* Deep knowledge of football culture and Gen Z digital behaviors
* Excellent storytelling, writing, and deck-building skills across PPT, Google Slides, Canva, etc
* A natural flair for ideation and thinking outside of the box to bring brands into the heart of the consumer experience
* A strong instinct for what cuts through culturally and creatively
