Job Title: Community Care Registered Mental Health Nurse
Reporting to: Community Care Nurse Manager
Location: Remote/Hybrid - working between home and community visits, ideally located around Dorset, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Exeter, Taunton areas (some travel to a wider geographical area required e.g. Truro)
Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Competitive + Bonus up to £10,000pa + Car Allowance £320pm + Mileage

You are a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for a role where you can truly impact lives as well as being part of a dedicated national team providing expert care in the community. What will you do?
* Be the face of expert care – supporting service users, families, and carers to ensure compassionate, high-quality services.
* Lead from the front – devising and implementing care plans, risk assessments, and essential care documentation with a person-centred approach.
* Collaborate with the Registered Manager – reviewing and assessing referrals, debriefing service users and carers after critical incidents.
* Maintain high standards of care – acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring full competency sign-off.
* Support & empower your team – overseeing clinical tasks for Community Care Leads and Healthcare Workers.
* Drive continuous improvement – working alongside the Community Care Nurse Manager to enhance community care services.
* Provide clinical leadership – mentoring and guiding teams to maintain their training and competencies.
* Be solution-driven – managing crisis situations and ensuring responsive, effective care
* Take ownership – conducting clinical investigations and offering guidance out of hours via on-call support.
The skills that make you different :
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration.
* Experience in mental health settings – community, crisis intervention, acute care, rehabilitation, forensics, CAMHS, and more.
* Expertise in mental health support – including complex cases, risk management, challenging behaviours, self-harm, suicide prevention, and therapeutic interventions.
* Knowledge of national care regulations (CQC, Care Inspectorate Scotland/Wales).
* A confident leader – mentoring and guiding others while ensuring high-quality care.
* Tech-savvy & adaptable – comfortable with remote working and digital healthcare solutions
* At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
