Job Description:

We’re BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world. We work with ambitious, entrepreneurially-spirited and high‑growth businesses that fuel the economy, directly advising the owners and management teams that lead them.
We’ll broaden your horizons
Our Marketing team drives creativity and growth at BDO. Their main goal is to equip the business to win, covering most touchpoints of the customer journey. Highlights include a national advertising campaign, the launch of a new firm-wide sales planning process, and the implementation of new digital marketing tools. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact and will be supported to build your career while being yourself in the office. Help the firm succeed by staying ahead of market trends, implementing your ideas, and collaborating with a range of stakeholders. You’ll enjoy a great work-life balance and a career with real purpose.
We’ll help you succeed
Leading organisations trust us because of the quality of our advice, which grows from a thorough understanding of their business through close collaboration and long-lasting relationships.
You’ll be proactive and manage your own tasks while confidently collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners. You’ll identify opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to the organisations we work with.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping, driving, and implementing marketing and business development activity nationally for a diverse, growth-focused team. You will prioritize and re-prioritize workload, influence and challenge key stakeholders, think strategically, and take the initiative to 'make things happen'.
The role is national and can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel to our London Hub required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with clients and strategic business unit leadership to develop and deliver go-to-market strategies supporting growth plans with a focus on ROI.
* Collaborate with heads of marketing and BD and colleagues across the full marketing mix to bring marketing expertise and insight to the business.
* Ensure national issues-based and solutions-led campaigns are followed up with local stream-focused partners and directors.
* Champion the deployment of digital marketing channels and its seamless integration into campaign management, and actively manage data quality in the CRM system.
* Maintain high-quality deal and sector credentials, bid and marketing materials.
* Support the firm’s client and audited entity feedback programme, report on progress, and make recommendations to improve client service.
* Lead key campaigns, including events, by leveraging wider MSC resources and obtaining specialist support where necessary.
* Drive thought leadership content, production, and launch of key reports, web-based insight articles, and integrated marketing activities.
* Work alongside Transactions Services, Business Restructuring, and Forensic and Valuations colleagues in pursuit of a seamless Deal Advisory GTM structure.
Qualifications:
* High-performing marketing experience approaching manager level.
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in professional services.
* A professional marketing qualification or demonstrable commitment to ongoing learning.
You’ll be recognized and valued for who you are and celebrated for your contributions. We’re committed to agile working, offering every colleague the opportunity to work in ways that suit you and your teams.
At BDO, we’ll help you achieve your personal goals and career ambitions, with programmes, resources, and frameworks that provide clarity and structure around career development.
We’re in it together
Mutual support and respect is one of BDO’s core values, and we’re proud of our distinctive, people-centred culture. From informal success conversations to formal mentoring and coaching, we’ll support you at every stage in your career.
Our agile working framework helps us stay connected, bringing teams together to share ideas and help one another. You’ll always have access to the people and resources you need to do your best work.
We know collaboration is key to creating value for the companies we work with and satisfying experiences for our colleagues. We’ve invested in state-of-the-art collaboration spaces in our offices. BDO’s people represent a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and we encourage you to build your network, work alongside others, and share your skills and experiences.

At BDO, we help entrepreneurial businesses succeed, fuelling the UK economy. Our success is powered by our people, which is why we’re always finding new ways to invest in you. Across the UK, thousands of unique minds come together to help the companies we work with achieve their ambitions.
We’ve got a clear purpose, and we’re confident in our future, adapting and evolving to build on our strengths, ensuring we continue to find the right combination of global reach, integrity, and expertise.
