We are committed to providing exceptional education and care to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Role Overview: We are seeking compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support our students with a range of needs, including complex needs, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and challenging behaviour. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping each student achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic support. Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Support students with personal care tasks, where necessary. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents. Requirements: Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with complex needs, PMLD, or challenging behaviour. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).
