Registered Manager - LD Residential Children's Home Location: Spalding, United Kingdom Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 with incentives up to £10,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Registered Manager, overseeing a brand-new Residential Children's Home in Spalding working for a group of specialist children’s homes supporting children with learning disabilities, ASD and associated needs. Each of the homes has an experienced team of adults who apply a therapeutic approach in a homely environment. Key Responsibilities · Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Foster a nurturing environment where young people can flourish and develop their potential. · Effectively communicate with residents and staff members to address needs and concerns. · Provide leadership and supervision to staff members, promoting professional growth and development. · Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for further education and career advancement for young residents. · Uphold the company ethos of prioritising the well-being and development of young people. Requirements · QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (to be obtained within 3 years of starting to manage the children’s home) OR · Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management OR · Relevant management qualification (equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma). · Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years. · Minimum of 1 year experience of line management/staff supervision of staff in a care role Management in a relevant residential care setting. · Worked within Ofsted inspection framework.
