We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team.
This role involves providing essential first-level and second-level IT support, managing IT assets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy individual with excellent communication skills, ready to handle a variety of IT tasks. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution and appropriate escalation when necessary. Your efforts will be vital in maintaining optimal system performance and achieving high levels of user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Provide 1st/2nd level IT support to employees (onsite/remote)
2. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems efficiently
3. Perform onboardings/offboardings of employees
4. Create and maintain IT documentation
5. Assist with the deployment of new applications and systems
6. Prioritize and handle multiple issues simultaneously
7. Manage an issue tracking system and report on issue resolution SLAs
Requirements and Skills
1. Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern office productivity tools
2. Pleasant and patient communicator
3. Great communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Positive, problem-solving attitude
5. Knowledge of help desk software and remote-control tools
6. Office 365, basic networking skills, knowledge of Windows OS environments
7. Ability to work independently and maintain customer satisfaction
8. Experience as a Service Desk agent or IT Support Technician (Engineering or Architecture) preferable
