Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead proposals and cost estimates for all projects, providing robust support to the Bids and Tenders team in securing projects with existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and lead proposals and cost estimates for all projects.
* Support the Bids and Tenders team in all aspects of Bids and Tendering documents to secure projects with existing and new clients.
* Provide detailed proposals including estimates for costs, clarifications, and liaison with the Bid and Tender Coordinator.
* Liaise closely with clients and departments across the group to ensure smooth operation of the estimating and tender process.
* Assist with bids for new contracts and support the activities of the buyers.
Additional Responsibilities
* Creation of presentations and documents to support internal communications.
* Gathering information to populate estimation documents.
* Organising project files with internal and external information.
* Inputting details or maintaining information stored in CRM.
Requirements
An engineering degree is desirable, along with knowledge of MS Office, good communication skills, and a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) grade A–C. Eagerness to develop knowledge and attend internal and external training is essential.
