Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust
Here at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to recruit a Qualified Specialty Neonatal Nurse with experience of working within a neonatal environment. If you are seeking a new and exciting challenge with the opportunity to enhance your leadership, management, and professional development, why not consider joining our neonatal team at our Basildon Hospital site and let us help facilitate your professional journey?
We have recently moved to a brand new unit with amazing space and facilities for our babies, their families, and the staff. We are also very proud of the transitional care service that we provide to our families, which allows babies to remain with their mothers on the post-natal wards and avoid admission and separation.

2. Participate in the management of the Neonatal Unit in the absence of a Senior Charge Nurse, demonstrating sound organisational skills.
3. Assist with budgetary control at ward level.
4. Assist in providing an environment that is conducive to the education of all staff.
5. Provide effective support for senior and junior staff.
Person Specification
For this role, you will need to have a current NMC registration and post-registration experience. You should have completed the Specialty Neonatal Course or equivalent and had post-qualification experience. A mentorship/teaching qualification is desirable.
