Senior EHS Coordinator Job ID: 32303 Manufacturing _ Heavy Industry 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday £45,000 - £55,000 per annum Exeter Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Exeter and due to ongoing growth of the business they need a EHS Coordinator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be someone who’s enthusiastic about taking on a challenging but rewarding role whilst ensuring the facility is compliant with both UK legislation and company standards for environment, health, and safety. EHS Coordinator Requirements needed for this position: Experience of working in an industrial engineering or manufacturing background (and working with ISO management systems) NEBOSH Certificate A proven EHS professional able to communicate, work, and influence effectively and efficiently at all levels of the business. Good working knowledge of UK environment, health, and safety legislation Ability to design and deliver technical training. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Awareness of Human Performance processes and role in safety management Ability to negotiate and influence the actions and decisions of others. EHS Coordinator Key Duties To design and deliver technical training, such as general toolbox talks, permit writing, FLT training and BA training. To assist with internal and external auditing processes, including support for internal corporate audits. To be an active member of site emergency team, giving leadership and onsite attendance where required. Maintenance of H&S Legal Register. To complete and review risk assessments and safe systems of work in accordance with current legislation and company standards. To engage with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies.
