You are invited to apply for the role of Senior Research Technician within the department of Translational Medical Sciences, School of Medicine. You will be based in the Biodiscovery Institute ( https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/research/research-areas/biodiscovery-institute/biodiscovery-institute.aspx ), with access to a range of state-of-the-art facilities. The successful applicant will be joining the Naaz-Coker Ovarian Cancer Research Centre (NOVARC); an ovarian cancer centre of excellence at the Biodiscovery Institute. The post will provide technical support to NOVARC, with a focus on biobank infrastructure, tissue processing, tissue micro arrays, and immunohistochemistry. The post is offered on a fixed term contract for 3 years. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 20 hours per week).
